The Challenge
The resort is one of the oldest resorts on Phuket, started as Pearl village resort. Recently the property has upgraded its rooms, by reducing it from 211 to 186 rooms, which are larger and more luxurious to compete in the Phuket 5 star hotel market. With the change to a high end luxury, branded as Design Hotel, the property revises their contracting structure, tour operators and sales strategy. HMS Thailand defined a new compset, simplified their distribution model and creates weekly and monthly easy to read reports, which management use during their daily sales strategy.
